Raised in Chicago and living in Aspen, CO, Patricia Bukur is a painter, poet and multimedia designer who has gained international recognition in past years with exhibitions in the US and abroad. She studied art extensively with private teachers in the US and overseas and attended Purdue University for 3 years before graduating from the University of Illinois.

Having taken a break from painting in during the past year to explore new media, her upcoming body of work is entitled "From Ego to Egolessness: Influences of the Buddha" and will be exhibited in Fall 2007. At present, Patricia's works are held in private collections in the US and Europe.

Patricia was the co-producer of "Free Tibet" Rock concert at the Wheeler Opera House in Aspen, and co-produced, designed and performs on the Buddhist music CD, "Perfection of Wisdom", available at www.amazon.com. Patricia also formed a Buddhist foundation which supports many causes at www.sattvafoundation.org

Patricia is working on a poetry and art book entitled, "Secret Journals of a Closet Poet".
